Objectives
This course is designed for those who want to dive into the world of tango through listening and emotion. Over 10 sessions, we’ll journey through tango history and actively explore the orchestras that shaped its sound.
This is not a technical course—you don’t need to be a musician, dancer, or DJ. All you need is curiosity and a desire to truly hear what makes each tango orchestra unique: the sound, the style, the feeling of each era and director.
We’ll listen to historic recordings, reflect on different musical styles, and watch selected video clips that bring us closer to the artists and the cultural context behind this extraordinary music.
It’s an invitation to fall in love with tango—through your ears.
